I’ve been holding my little sleeping princess for the past few hours while my wife catches up on some sleep. Heading back home this morning. Life is good 👊🏻
Beautifully written and I loved the poem! So happy for you, you did the hard, hard work and your son now benefits from all the reflection and discipline and self-congruence.
I think working on your own shit is the best gift you can give anyone you love. 💛
The beautiful life which bestowes you through hard work and the words which you share through your life. A Family protected with compassion, and love built for oneself..🕊️❤️🕊️
Please let me join the chorus of congratulations, Adam. This is such great news.
Related: A couple of years into sobriety, I had my visectomy reversed. We were not successful, but we've come to accept that reality (in much the same way unintended parents do, but the other way around).
You keep smashing those links of inter generational trauma until it’s pulverized. That’s what I do ever single day with my kids - no excuses ever for what I got grueling up, ie, no showed them and they didn’t know any better. Bs. No one showed me either and I figured it out because it was more important than any excuse.
Beautiful. Couldn’t be happier for you brother and what an amazing oath you’ve just created for your son, Danielle, and yourself.
Thank you brother. Massive congratulations to you and your family, hope you’re all good 🙏
